About

Hi, I’m Lindsay! :-)

I'm a former Spanish teacher turned social worker out of my passion for supporting children, teens, and adults as they grow, heal, and improve their mental and physical health.

In my work, it's an honor to get to witness the power of the human spirit and to see clients show up for themselves.

I offer clinical services to address trauma, anxiety and depression, children's and women's issues, relational problems, life transitions, and grief, among other challenges. I incorporate therapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, cognitive processing therapy, acceptance and commitment, Rogerian / person-centered, written exposure therapy, art and play therapy, and more.

On a personal level, I am married, have a son and a daughter, two dogs, two cats, and I live on a hobby farm. I was born and raised in the Chicago area and moved to Michigan in 2011. I enjoy working out, gardening, reading, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
